Oakland Catholic Graduate showcasing Oakland's sights/sites!

I have had the absolute pleasure of knowing this gal since she was a toddler. I've photographed her dozens of times over the years, and this session was THE BEST. Cecillia is a brilliant, hysterical, driven young lady, and it was a joy to take her senior pictures!

As a Class of 2023 graduate of Oakland Catholic, Cecilia wanted to have her photos taken on and around the Oakland campus where she has spent countless hours. Of course, Oakland is home to several gorgeous churches, so we gladly stopped by to borrow the delicate decorations on the doorways!

When Cea talks about Oakland Catholic High School, and some of the parts of going to high school in Oakland, definitely a standout is the many trips to Starbucks. So we had to make that a part of her session!

When in Oakland, I'm always happy to swing by the Carnegie Mellon Columns for some photos. They are just such a perfect backdrop for senior portraits-- stunning, and complimentary to so many different colored outfits.

Cea's session was full of pauses for laughter, sips of Starbucks, and general catching up. Hanging out in the area later into the evening allowed us to catch this stunning sunset. That felt like the icing on the cake!

Truly, a blast to get to work with friends over the year! I went on a deep dive and pulled a few of my favorite pictures from over the years of working with Cea's family!

This one is with her sister, fall photos at Mellon Park in 2015. Such sweet little smiles :)

Here we have a real oldie image from 2013. This was taken with Cea's mom and sister in their family greenhouse, Giger Nursey in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. I love the longevity of our friendship and our partnership in photos. Anytime I walk into their home, I am surrounded my images I've taken of them over the years. That is a feeling unlike any other I have!

Last, back to the present day-- my beautiful friend Sheri, and her beautiful daughter Cecilia.

Cea heads off to an incredible college adventure in Switzerland soon, and I'm confident she is going to move mountains and continue to be an amazing person!
