Vincentian Academy Graduate at Pine Community Center in Pittsburgh

Another gorgeous senior on the blog today!!

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren back in the fall for her senior session. We got together again last month to highlight her cap and gown achievement!

We met up at the Pine Community Center in Gibsonia, which often has the most incredible evening burst of light!

I knew that I wanted to capture Lauren's full length cap, accented by the prisms of light. That look right there makes my heart so happy-- like the sun can barely contain its joy of life!

Little hippy dippy, I know...

After I had taken the first few images of Lauren, I had to pause and tell her how much I missed seeing her smile! It lights up her whole face, and I know it made my day to get to see it!

Lauren graduated from Vincentian Academy, as the last class to go through its halls.

Kind of a crazy feeling, I'm sure !

I asked Lauren to participate in my graduate Q & A, so here we go:

Q: What made this cap & gown session fun/special?

A; Having a cap and gown session was fun and enjoyable because the photo session was something I was able to do during this crazy time to celebrate my graduation from high school since my normal graduation had been changed and so had the last 3 months of my senior year.

Q: Favorite memory of senior year?

A: My favorite memory from senior year was the basketball practices with my teammates and coaches. We always joked around and had a fun time (after we did lots of drill and running lol).

Q: Advice for underclassmen?

A: My advice to underclassman is to always stay true to yourself and don’t give up when times get rough or something is thrown your way.

Incredible session, Lauren! I'm so confident that your light & joy are going to be phenomenal assets to you in college & beyond. Congratulations to you & the entire class of 2020!
